Books you'd love to see made into a film: "Girlfriend in a Coma" by Douglas Copeland; think "The Happening" but much much less lame.
Most impactful book/author: Janet Fitch is one. She pulls you right in so that you cry like a fool on the subway. Douglas Copeland (him again!) he makes you want to change your world.
